  • A Wise Solution Steam Cleaning LLC

We are a two-person local cleaning business, not a data company. We collect what we need to quote your job, do it well, and reach you about it — and nothing beyond that.

The short version: we never sell your information, and we never share your phone opt-in data with anyone. The detail is below.

01Who we are

A Wise Solution Steam Cleaning LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) is an owner-operated steam cleaning business based at 1027 East 6th Street, New Richmond, WI 54017. We clean carpet, rugs, upholstery, and tile and grout for homes and businesses in and around New Richmond, Wisconsin.

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or hire us, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it. It applies to our website and to the way we handle customer information in the ordinary course of running the business.

02Information we collect

We only collect what we need to quote a job, do the work, and get back to you.

Information you give us directly

When you call, text, email, or book an appointment, you may give us:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Service address — where the work is being done.
  • Job details — the rooms and surfaces involved, pets in the home, stains or odors you want treated, access notes, and anything else you tell us about the space.
  • Scheduling preferences — dates and times that work for you.
  • Anything else you choose to send — including photos of a problem area, if you send them.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how long you stayed, and the site you arrived from. This is standard server and analytics data. It tells us that a page is slow or that nobody can find our phone number. It does not tell us who you are.

What we do not collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or government identifiers. We do not store your full payment card details on our website. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

03How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

  • Prepare and send you a quote.
  • Schedule, confirm, and carry out your appointment.
  • Reach you about your job — including when we are running late, need access details, or have a question about the space.
  • Send an invoice and take payment.
  • Follow up afterward to make sure you are satisfied, and honor our guarantee if you are not.
  • Keep records of past work, so that when you call us back in eighteen months we already know your home.
  • Respond to reviews, questions, and complaints.
  • Meet our legal, tax, and insurance obligations.
  • Understand which parts of our website are useful and which are not.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. See how we share information below.

04Text messages and phone calls

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your quote, your appointment, or your job. This is how a small local business actually communicates, and it is usually the fastest way to sort something out.

Your mobile information stays with us

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

What kind of messages we send

  • Conversational messages — replies to your questions, quotes, scheduling back-and-forth.
  • Appointment messages — confirmations, reminders, and day-of updates.
  • Follow-up messages — checking that you are happy with the work.

Frequency, cost, and opting out

  • Message frequency varies depending on your job and how much back-and-forth it takes.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts. You will get one confirmation, and then we will stop.
  • Reply HELP for help, or just call us at (715) 888-9152.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can hire us without agreeing to receive texts — just tell us to call instead.

Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment. If you have opted out and we need to reach you, we will call.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

05Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small file your browser stores. We use them to keep the site working correctly and to understand how it is being used — which pages get read, which ones get abandoned, and whether anything is broken.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most of our site will still work if you do. Browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting; there is no industry-wide agreement on how to respond to it, so we do not currently respond to those signals.

06How we share information

We do not sell your information

We have never sold customer information and we do not intend to. We do not trade it, rent it, or hand it to data brokers or advertisers.

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers who help us operate — our scheduling and customer management software, website host, email provider, and payment processor. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
  • When you ask us to — for example, coordinating access with your property manager, realtor, or tenant.
  • When the law requires it — a valid subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government authority.
  • To protect people — if sharing is necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or a threat to someone's safety.
  • If the business changes hands — if the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of it. This policy would continue to apply to information collected before the transfer.

As stated above, text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties under any circumstance.

07How long we keep it

We keep customer records for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and afterward for as long as we need them for legitimate business reasons — honoring our guarantee, answering questions about past work, resolving disputes, and meeting tax and insurance requirements.

In practice that means job records are kept for several years, because knowing what we did to your carpet in 2024 is genuinely useful when you call again in 2027. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see your choices below.

08How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect customer information: reputable software providers, access limited to the people who need it, and password-protected devices and accounts.

We want to be straight with you, though: no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and nobody can promise otherwise. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by Wisconsin law.

09Your choices and your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Ask what we have. Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correct it. Tell us if something is wrong and we will fix it.
  • Ask us to delete it. We will delete what we are not legally or practically required to keep, and tell you plainly what we kept and why.
  • Stop the texts. Reply STOP to any message.
  • Stop the emails. Use the unsubscribe link, or just ask.
  • Decline cookies. Through your browser settings.

To make any of these requests, call (715) 888-9152 or email [email protected]. We may need to verify who you are before we act, which usually just means confirming details of a past job. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. Tell us what you are asking for and we will do our best to honor it regardless of which state you are in.

10Children's privacy

Our services are offered to adults. Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes or as the law does. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
