About A Wise Solution

One owner, one truck, and a straight answer about what your carpet can and cannot be brought back from.

Tony Arrona Owner — on every job, start to finish

Who you are hiring

The person who answers is the person who shows up.

A Wise Solution has been cleaning carpet, rugs, upholstery and tile across the St. Croix Valley since 2021. It is Tony’s business, and Tony does the work.

That sounds like a small detail until you have had the other experience — a dispatcher guessing at your square footage over the phone, then a technician arriving who has never spoken to you, working from a script, quoting a number nobody warned you about.

Here you get one conversation with one person. Tony walks the space with you, tests the fibers, points out what is dirt and what is permanent wear, and gives you a firm number before anything comes off the truck. If something will not come out, he says so first rather than after you have paid.

Homes, clinics, offices, rentals and move-out turnovers all get the same standard. The equipment does not change based on who is watching.

“Tony has been out to clean my carpets in my clinic several times and he continues to AMAZE me! Not only is he a terrific person, he is thorough, and very detail orientated.”

How we work

Four things we will not bend on.

Tell you the truth first

If a stain is not coming out, you hear it before we start, not after. Managing an expectation costs us nothing. Breaking one costs us a neighbour.

Quote it, then honour it

The number you get after the walkthrough is the number you pay. No surprise line items, no upsell halfway through, no deposit to hold a slot.

Treat it like our own

Furniture gets protected, corners get checked, and spots get treated individually rather than hoping the general pass catches them.

Come back if it is wrong

If a spot returns or something got missed, call and it gets made right. No arguing about it. That is easier to promise when the owner is the one who did the work.

The method

Why hot water extraction, not a rented machine.

The difference is not the soap. It is heat, pressure, and how much of the water comes back out of the fiber before we leave.

  1. Inspect and pre-treat

Fiber type, condition, and problem areas get identified first. Pre-treatment goes on the spots that need it, and gets time to work.

  2. Agitate

Working the solution into the pile breaks the bond between the soil and the fiber. Skipping this is why a rented machine mostly just makes carpet wet.

  3. Extract

Heated solution goes deep, then gets pulled back out under vacuum, carrying the dirt, dander and odor with it instead of pressing it further down.

  4. Walk it together

Room by room before we pack up, so anything missed gets caught while we are still standing there. Typical carpet is dry in 4 to 8 hours.
